Top Ten Anime Series:

10. Naruto: In this era, where machines and Ninjas exist, Naruto, a young boy with the power of a fox demon sealed within, wishes to be one day the greatest ninja ever.

9. Trigun Directed by Satoshi Nishimura: Trigun takes place after something bad happens to earth and humans are either supposed to move or this is like an experiment. Anyway, they come across two babies, Vash and Knives (why she named him knives, i dont have a fucking clue). They grow up looking like average 21 years of age, but in truth they are the ones who 'live outside of time'. Vash in truth is about 120 years old. So, Vash is the dual wielding, gun shooting, PACIFIST. While his brother is opposite. Except he thinks everyone else should die because of the shitty treatment he received on the space ship.

8. S-CRY-ED Directed by Goro Taniguchi: Another edition to the odd animes, this one takes place probably fifteen to twenty years after The Upheaval in Japan causing several people to get strange powers, they are called Users. Illegal and wild they are the poverty of this world, however, Holy, an official put-to-gether for Users, wants these men and women, and this has become a struggle for power.

7. Paranoia Agent Directed by Satoshi Kon: One of the weirdest animes I have ever watched, even too weird for me. I stopped watching after the 10th episode, but the twists and turns of this sci-fi/fantasy/thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. About: A sling of murders have been happening all around tokyo, and a boy with a Golden bat and golden shoes, aka Little Slugger is the one responsible.

6.Samurai Champloo Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe: I saw a preview of this through Adult swim and just had to find out exactly what I was going to experience. Although the series isn't finished (we're up to episode 13) this is probably one of the best due to the kick-ass drawing effects and wonderful soundtrack. About: Fuu, a maid at a resturant suddenly is attacked by some jerks who just want to fool around and end up with two very different samurai. Mugen, a tough old dog abou the age of 25, is mean spirited and really treats people dog eat dog in this world. Mugen's style is almost a hip-hop dancers dream. Jin is about 28, and a very silent studying man. His sword and his style is very traditional. They, all three, set out to find Fuu's samurai who smells of sunflowers.

5. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Directed by Kenji Kamiyama: This was made after the first movie of Ghost in the Shell, and after the comic. The 2nd Gig is now on Adult Swim, so be prepared. About: The Laughing Man, A hacker/terrorist thrives off the knowledge of the net, will the major be able to handle this in her new section, Section 9?

4. BLEACH: Taking place in today's Tokyo, a young man named Ichigo Kurasaki has a special power: Able to see and communicate with the dead.  Living with his two sisters and father, he thinks he's alone, when along comes a Shinigami, or Death God.  She tries to save him from a Hollow, or basically a dead person eaten by other hollows, or a human who has an attachment to the real world still.  But in a failure, he has a choice, let his friends and families souls be eaten by Hollows, or stab his heart with a shinigami's sword, Zanpoukto (sp?) and become a temporary shinigami.  In a whirlwind of pain he stabs himself and lo, a new shinigami is born.  Art and story by Tite Kubo.

3. Neon Genisis Evangelion written and directed by Hideaki Anno:  This one will fuck with your mind and all you understand will no longer exist. I can't give a plot, its just too thick with information, but this is a robot anime that everyone will enjoy.

2. FLCL directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, Masahiko Otsuka, Shouji Saeki, Takeshi Ando: This series I discovered by accident, surfing the channels I found out about Adult Swim and wouldn't you know it? ANIME! I had to watch this show, rent it and read it several times to find all the little things they put into this anime. About: Naota is just a normal boy in a normal town with a normal father...That is when Haru Hara Haruko comes to town and decides to mess things up a bit by making Naota a Space port in his head!

1. Cowboy Bebop by Shinichiro Watanabe (Director), Toshihiro Kawamoto (Artist): This was one of the first series I saw as a kid, sometime after I gave up Magic The Gathering and Pokemon. While it is sort of a sad-ending anime, it is totally worth the money to get the anime and the manga. Truths about life and love, answered here. About: Cowboy Spike Spegal travels the stars with the not-exactly-the-best-cowboys/girls-ever group, grabbing up the bad guys to score top dollar in space. Ah, the life a bounty hunter.
Top Ten Webcomix!

10.VG Cats by Scott Ramsoomair: Basically cats in video games, this one is pretty hilarious althgouh i liked his orginal stuff better. It had less of a mass produced cartoony feel to it.

9. Penny And Aggie: Taking place in today's world, Penny is a stuck up snob and Aggie is a vegan hippie, both are on different fronts but after a couple of instigations and conflicts, have a better understanding of one another.

8. Apple Geeks: Art by Mohammed Hawk, and story by Annath, this comic takes place in USA to start about a boy named Hawk who loves Macs.  Almost to a sexual lust.  The story gets complicated when one of his friends steals Eve, a mac programmed sentient life form, in order to get a girlfriend.  Things get complicated.

7. Least I Could Do: Story by Ryan Sohmer, and Current art by Lars Desouza.

6. SNAFU-Comics: This one consists of a couple of comics: Grim Adventures From Down Below, by Bleedman (as he is known): Apparently Mandy and Grim marry and have two kids, Grim Jr. and Mini-Mandy. This is their story. Power Puff Girls Doujinshi by Bleedman: All I can say is plot-wise and art-wise is some of the best art ever. It's better than the original creators would've ever dreamed of. Snafu-Comics, by Dave: Some hilarious shit, mostly with video-games but all sorts of random fun can be found here! TIN: The Incompetent Ninja, by Dave: Just hilarious crap, the art is not so good but it's just funny as hell!

5. Errant Story by Michael Poe: This story is slightly strange, and the art is a little off, however, the plot and dialouge are pretty complicated. Only one with a big brain could handle this stuff. It's really depressing in a mean sort of way. But it is good.

4.  Dominic-Deegan, by Michael "Mookie" Terraccino: I wish I could place all comics as number one, especially this one, but I cannot. However Dominic-Deegan deserves any award given to him, his art is his own, while it does have a tinge of anime style in there. Vegan, he is, but bad artist he is not. He believes in happy endings, and his jokes are absolutely hilarious!

3. Better Days by Jay Naylor: Taking place in Georgia, two kittens, Fisk and Lucy grow up in a home with no father, and one hell of a hot mom! The story is strong with plot, however it doesn't have like a huge meaning to it all, it just has story to each chapter. I recommend this one for all the people who have had a hard life, this one kept me going.

2. Mega Tokyo: Fred Gallagher is the creator here, and he just makes animerica stuff like crap. This is seriuosly one of the best artists I have ever seen. In fact, he is the best manga artist I have ever seen. He is American but he speaks Japanese fluently and is just an overwhelming awesome person.

1. CTRL-ALT-DEL created by Tim Buckley, drawn by Tim Absath: Just a comic about video games, talking liqour bottles, and penguins. Twisted yet so true...

5. BLEACH: More To Come...

3. Oh My Goddess! by Kosuke Fujishima: Keiichi Morisato, a college student accidentally calls the wrong place and instead of a beef bowl he gets Belldandy! She is a goddess and grants him one wish. He asks for her to stay with him forever. It happens exactly like that. It's about love and trust and an adventure that takes a life time.
